The Crewel Gobelin - History
When three friends started a home-based needlework shop in Sydney in October 1976 they would never have expected that the business would be going from strength to strength over forty years later. Today, The Crewel Gobelin is one of Australia’s leading Needlework shops with an extensive product range available both in-store and on-line to customers around the world.
From small beginnings, the business moved from a house into a shop on the Pacific Highway and then to it's current location at 9 Marian Street Killara in 1996.
Through-out its long history The Crewel Gobelin has continued to be a specialty needlework shop, continually evolving as needlework enthusiasts tastes have changed.
Today, The Crewel Gobelin is proudly owned by Julie Milne, and supported by a valued team of employees who have a reputation for their expertise and passion for needlework.
