Ann Jordan was from Baltimore, Maryland.   We characterize this sampler as a Baltimore architectural “eyeglass gate” sampler.   There are many documented samplers with this gate and brickwork dating from 1810 to 1841.  Ann’s sister Elizabeth worked a comparable sampler with a brick house and trees similar to other known samplers in this group.  Ann’s gazebo is new to the group.
