Inspired by an antique sampler with a non-traditional shape. It's long and narrow and the alphabet worked in one long row.... only 3 7/8" wide! The antique was worked on canvas with wool. No signature, no date.

Brenda took some liberties with this piece, using green floss for the flower stems, adjusted the bow, and added a 2nd blue to the piece. So, not a true reproduction, but no less, inspired by an antique piece of needlework.
